The Opportunity ABI Coating Specialists are currently seeking several experienced trades-persons for light to heavy industrial transport type painting preparation works.
We are the largest Industrial Coatings Contracting business in Southeast Queensland specializing in heavy automotive, large mobile equipment, Defence force and aerospace sectors.
The Role We are looking for experienced Abrasive blasting Operators to work at our clean, modern, well-equipped Industrial Coatings workshop located in the lifestyle-friendly Gold Coast region.
About You You must be experienced in multi-media abrasive blasting – at least 2 years industry experience.
Wet Blasting experience would be an advantage as we have both dry and wet blasting facilities.
We will train the right person to work with new challenging abrasive blasting and mechanical preparation techniques in a safe and well-supported environment.
We are looking for long-term employees with a positive and practical can-do attitude.
You will work alongside and assist skilled spray-painting tradesmen and will have the opportunity to learn new techniques.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week after initial trial and probation period) – typically Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm.
Some Saturday morning work may be required occasionally, but we like to maintain a good work-life balance.
