The role: We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect to support the largest and most strategic customers at Carrier. You will play a key role in working within Carrier's Digital Products, IoT Solution, and Managed Services team, focusing on providing high-impact solutions for customers and understanding their requirements.
The Solution Architect will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within Carrier Digital. This role will work on a range of software products, IoT solutions, and associated managed services critical to Carrier's continued business growth. You will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business and technology issues from strategy to execution.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and qualify sales opportunities within the regionEvaluate customer needs and apply solutions to resolve or improve outcomesComplete detailed assessments of buildings involving study of building systemsManage bids with structured bid response, competitive comparison, commercial estimations using pricing tools, and identify external vendors needed to execute the solution designDiagnose customer concerns, delivering presentations and demonstrationsRespond to customer technical issues and questionsWork with the sales organization to identify and close targeted opportunitiesIdentify and document future product, solution, and service requirementsDevise clear roadmaps to deliver next-generation technology solutionsKey Requirements: Previous experience within a similar positionAbility to solve problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentAbility to complete detailed assessments of buildings involving study of building systems, assets, processes (cybersecurity, maintenance), Edge to cloud integration, and 3rd party API integrationsAbility to understand customer business needs and convert them into technical deliverablesData-driven and consultative mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of building operating technologies such as lighting, energy, HVAC, and Building Management SystemsWe embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning.
