Position: Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician – Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
About the Role: The Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician is a key member of the multidisciplinary team providing mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families/carers in the Orange area.
The position promotes the mental health and wellbeing of Aboriginal families and the wider community and works in a holistic way to prevent the development of mental health problems.
This role sits within the Infant Child Youth & Family (ICYF) mental health services which operate from Bloomfield Hospital, Orange.
The Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health team is a multidisciplinary team working with young people up to age 18 with mental health challenges that significantly impact their daily life.
ICYF consists of services ranging from early intervention through to acute services.
The Team partners with a range of health services and other agencies, which may include the Department of Education, NSW Department of Communities & Justice, Headspace, and other Government and non-Government agencies across the area.
