A03 Assistant Finance Officer

TroocooTroocoo Government are currently assisting a valued client find their next Assistant Finance Officer (A03). This is an initial temporary contract to the 30/06/2025, with potential to extend. You will be part of the larger finance team that provides corporate support to the organisation.This role is located within the Brisbane CBD, paying $48.12 per hour + super and is open to WFH flexibility.Role DutiesThe A03 Assistant Finance Officer will be responsible for:Follow ups for unacquitted transactionsReview/follow-ups of card transactions that have been flaggedValidation of workAnswering queries in regards to Corporate CardsDisputes, cancellations, change of limitsDaily, fortnightly and monthly reportsAbility to multi-taskInterpret policy/procedure and apply it to daily work and decision makingProcessing a high volume of invoices incoming into the business unitAbout YouTo be successful within this position you would bring the following:Previous experience within Accounts/Accounts Payable is essentialHigh attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies and errorsAbility to work autonomously and process a high volume of dataFast and accurate data entry skillsEfficient use of Excel and/or systems like SAP, Agresso, ExpenseMe Pro, TSS, ServiceNow etc. would be beneficialThe BenefitsBrisbane CBD locationAttractive hourly rateEntry level Government positionWe are shortlisting applications as they are received, apply now and don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
