The NFSA is undergoing significant change, including digital transformation, to become Australia's most dynamic cultural organisation.About the TeamThe Workforce and Culture (W&C) Team partners with managers to achieve strategic goals, delivering all elements of Human Resources including workforce planning, payroll, learning and development, Work Health and Safety (WHS), wellbeing, recruitment, performance management, and HR reporting.The OpportunityThe Workforce and Culture Advisor is responsible for providing HR advice and assistance to the NFSA. The role requires someone enthusiastic, keen to learn, and capable of problem-solving while working as part of a small team.Job DescriptionUnder limited direction, this position is responsible for delivering the following functions:Provide W&C services on HR related functions, including:RecruitmentLearning and developmentWork health and safetyHealth and wellbeingComplete HR administrative tasks, including:Processing recruitment activitiesUndertaking policy and legislative researchMaintaining ServiceNow ticketing requestsAssisting with staff onboarding and inductionMonitoring probation complianceProcessing invoices and maintaining the team budget sheetProvide accurate advice to staff and managers to ensure compliance.Actively participate in HR related projects.Selection CriteriaDemonstrated experience in supporting HR functions.Experience in interpreting and applying HR legislation, policies, and procedures.Well-developed organisational and time management skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Desired Skills and ExperienceBackground or interest in human resources is desirable.How to ApplyPlease address the 'Key Responsibilities' and 'Selection Criteria' in 500 words or less, outlining how your skills and experience demonstrate that you would be our ideal candidate.
