We have developed a purpose-built workshop facility to ensure we have the capacity and resources to deliver our full-service offering to the Mackay region and surrounding areas.Starting in the new year, we have a position available for a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our workshop team in Paget.
We offer a choice of roster, choose between a 7:7 or 5:2, both dayshift ONLY.The Role:Performing detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and related components.Conducting complete rebuilds of bare chassis from the ground up.Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and safety.Collaborating with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.Key Requirements:Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.Previous experience in bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance.Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of diesel mechanics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.What We Offer:Casual hourly rate of $60ph or a full-time rate of $53ph.7:7 or 5:2 roster: choose which suits your lifestyle best.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and dynamic work environment.How to Apply: If you're a dedicated Diesel Fitter and want to join our Mackay team, we'd love to hear from you!
