About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Trainer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and work on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on creating and maintaining training systems and materials for electrical trade employees, including identifying, implementing, and monitoring training and competency requirements.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Developing procedures and work instructions for training and operational needs. Working with department coordinators and supervisors to create an annual training plan and monitoring progress against objectives. Coordinating and overseeing training activities for the electrical team, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and accommodation. Assessing personnel competency against standards and ensuring skill meet departmental and site requirements. Managing the InTuition training management system to maintain accurate records of training activities. About You Our preferred candidate will be an experienced trainer with a background in electrical maintenance roles, ideally within the mining industry.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
A Grade Electrical Worker's Licence (WA). High Voltage Switching certification. Formal training and assessment qualification. First Aid certificate, including Low Voltage Rescue and CPR. Current C class driver's licence (manual). Exposure to training management systems, such as InTuition or similar systems.
