26 Management CT Field Supervision PipingRequisition ID: 278903 Relocation Authorized: National - CampTelework Type: Full-Time Office/ProjectWork Location: Karratha WAJob Summary:The Craft Supervisor – Piping is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the Piping discipline. You will ensure assigned construction operations and contractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
Major Responsibilities:Supervises and directs Craft Professionals in construction activities within assigned area.Perform employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for subordinate Piping personnel.Input craft time records using established automated tools.Completing performance evaluations on direct reports.Provide leadership for safety, accident and fire prevention on the project. This includes safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings.Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices at all times in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.Education and Experience Requirements:10+ years relevant field experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor's (if applicable) responsibilities. Knowledge of construction technologies. Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.Familiarity with current industry quality standards.Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Undeniable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program.Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
Additional InformationThis position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
