Job Description:Join an Organisation where we Serve Something Greater; See Something Greater; and Strive for Something Greater! Enrolled Nurse – Acute Care New Graduate Program (Part-Time positions available 0.8 FTE)
We are looking for remarkable Graduate Nurses who are passionate about nursing to be part of the Mater New Graduate Nurse Program. Our program runs for 11 (eleven) months and offers 2 (two) different rotations throughout the year.
We offer Graduate Study Days, Orientation to departments, Individualised Learning Plans and have Educators and experienced staff to assist you throughout your program.
About YouYou must have completed within the past 12 months a TAFE Diploma in nursing; or are due to complete the same prior to the start date of the Mater graduate program.
Have no more than 6 months' work experience as an Enrolled Nurse since graduation, if you completed graduation within the past 12 months.
Must not be studying or commencing further study during the Graduate year.
Meet all requirements and eligibility to apply for National Nursing Registration (APHRA).
Provide all required documentation as requested via the Mater Workday system.
Provide documentation supporting Australian Residency status (i.e. proof of residency or citizenship).
Overseas students must have documented proof of English Language skills to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Band 7 / or OET with score of B, or evidence of a booking for a test at the time of interview.
Be able to undertake 11 months full-time or part-time employment.
Display effective interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
Be able to accept professional accountability for own actions.
Be aware of own limitations.
Have a strong ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide exceptional "Person Centred Care".
Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development.
