About the Internship Programme  At Laing O'Rourke, we're committed to equipping our interns with the foundational knowledge and skills needed for success.
As part of our comprehensive 12-week Internship Programme, you'll have the chance to work on a real project site during the summer.
Here's what you can expect: Hands-On Experience:  Get involved in meaningful work that contributes to our projects.
Guidance and Support:  Receive supervision, feedback, and mentorship from industry professionals.
Weekly Training Sessions:  Enhance your skills through specialized training sessions.
Networking:  Connect with a dedicated buddy and fellow interns.
The Internship Programme allows you to experience working at Laing O'Rourke, get a sense of our culture and gain better understanding of the job and future career pathway.
Following your Internship, you will receive priority consideration for our 2026 Graduate Development Programme.
There may also be opportunities for you to remain in the business in a casual capacity while you complete your studies.
About the Construction Management stream A sample of the type of tasks you may complete as a Construction Management Intern include: Attending site meetings Maintaining strict quality control procedures Monitoring Key Performance Indicators, data / metrics and work schedules to track and forecast progress in alignment with the overall project program to build Conducting regular site safety checks and activities, preparing reports and closing out actions raised Plan and produce work methodologies for the safe delivery of work scope with self-perform and/or sub-contract delivery models Support the site supervision team for safe and efficient management of site operations Ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, finding solutions to problems that may cause delays (i.e.
late arrivals of materials) Coordinate with key project stakeholders, including design consultants and relevant authorities to ensure compliance Eligibility and how to apply To be eligible for our Internship Programme, you must meet the following criteria: At time of application, hold Australian/ New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Be in your second last year of university studies (penultimate year).
Be studying a relevant degree to the role advertised, Bachelor of Construction Management or related degree.
You will be required to complete an online application form and upload your CV and academic transcript (online transcript is acceptable).
