Job Description for Lead Business Analyst & Change Lead: Position Title: Lead Business Analyst & Change Lead
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst and Change Lead. The Lead Business Analyst and Change Lead will play a key role in driving business analysis activities, managing a team of business analysts, and drive organizational change initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. The Change Lead will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and end-users to assess change impacts, develop change management strategies, and facilitate the transition to new ways of operating.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional growth.Lead change management activities for projects, including change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and readiness assessments to identify potential barriers to change.Develop and implement change management plans, communication plans, and training plans to support the adoption of new initiatives and ensure stakeholder buy-in and engagement.Partner with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans and ensure alignment between change initiatives and project objectives.Provide guidance and support to project teams on change management methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively manage change and mitigate risks.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, product owners, project managers, and technical teams, to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and document business needs, objectives, and constraints.Analyze and evaluate business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test plans and test cases, and support UAT activities to validate solution functionality against business requirements.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Change management, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., BABOK).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments, with a solid understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies.Experience in Utility industries or domains will be add on. =======================================XX=====================================  Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to provide solutions and bridge the gap between technology and business know-how to deliver any client solution Do Bridging the gap between project and support teams through techno-functional expertise For a new business implementation project, drive the end to end process from business requirement management to integration & configuration and production deploymentCheck the feasibility of the new change requirements and provide optimal solution to the client with clear timelinesProvide techno-functional solution support for all the new business implementations while building the entire system from the scratchSupport the solutioning team from architectural design, coding, testing and implementationUnderstand the functional design as well as technical design and architecture to be implemented on the ERP systemCustomize, extend, modify, localize or integrate to the existing product by virtue of coding, testing & productionImplement the business processes, requirements and the underlying ERP technology to translate them into ERP solutionsWrite code as per the developmental standards to decide upon the implementation methodologyProvide product support and maintenance to the clients for a specific ERP solution and resolve the day to day queries/ technical problems which may ariseCreate and deploy automation tools/ solutions to ensure process optimization and increase in efficiencySink between technical and functional requirements of the project and provide solutioning/ advise to the client or internal teams accordinglySupport on-site manager with the necessary details wrt any change and off-site supportSkill upgradation and competency buildingClear wipro exams and internal certifications from time to time to upgrade the skillsAttend trainings, seminars to sharpen the knowledge in functional/ technical domainWrite papers, articles, case studies and publish them on the intranetStakeholder Interaction Stakeholder TypeStakeholder IdentificationPurpose of InteractionInternalLead ConsultantReporting & updatesOnsite Project Manager/ Project TeamsTo provide off-site support and inputs as per client requirementsExternalClientsFor solutioning and provide supportDisplay Lists the competencies required to perform this role effectively: Functional Competencies/ SkillSystems Thinking - Understanding of the Wipro system (interrelatedness, interdependencies and boundaries) and perform problem solving in a complex environment - CompetentLeveraging Technology - In-depth knowledge of and mastery over technology domain that commands expert authority respect- MasterFunctional/Technical Knowledge - Specific to the functional and ERP system in depth knowledge of the function processes and system and ERP functionality-MasterCompetency LevelsFoundationKnowledgeable about the competency requirements.
