Ensure effective and efficient on-site management of all security and safety aspects of the Site in accordance with the MSS Security Standing Instructions and site operating procedures (SOPs).Observe & Report: Maintaining focus and observing the activities associated with asset protectionUsing appropriate methods of communication (e.g. radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issuesEnsuring that with knowledge of the client site and requirements, any out of the ordinary events are identified and actionedAccess Control: Ensuring only authorised persons are permitted to enter the siteEnsuring that entrances and exits are clear and unobstructedEnsuring that persons entering the site are provided with the appropriate pass or ID as requiredUsing computerised access control systems as requiredMaintaining security and safety for assigned areaOperating and monitoring security control panels alarms, and related security equipment to provide area and visitor surveillanceControl of Loading Dock: Ensuring only authorised persons enter the site via the loading dockControlling boom gates, roller doors or other as per Standard Operating ProceduresAllocating spaces for loading and unloading and coordinate traffic efficientlyProviding access to and directing deliveries and contractors only to areas to which they are authorisedSite Standing Orders: Reading, understanding and signing off on specific site requirementsSeeking additional information and training where unsure of any requirementReporting any differences between SOPs and actual daily activitiesCustomer Retention: Ensuring presentation and attitude are at a high standardProviding exceptional customer service at all timesProviding information, directions and other information as required either in person or via the telephoneIdentifying and rectifying issuesEnsuring specified service levels are maintainedEnsuring the personal safety of staff, visitors, and propertyMaintaining working knowledge of the locations of various departments, buildings, access routes and admitting requirementsOther Duties: Maintaining logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork, and using computer terminal to input and retrieve dataAny additional duties as requested by ManagementHow to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
