2X Freight Handlers

Programmed is seeking 2x freight handlers to assist our client at their warehouse based in Tamworth.
Our client is a specialist in stock and freight distribution with over 55 depots nationwide and a vast international delivery network with a renowned reputation for same day delivery.
About the roles: We are seeking to fill 1 position with shift hours from 3AM to 7AMThe other vacant position is for shift hours from 12AM to 8AMMonday to Friday rosterLoading parcels and cartons by hand from conveyor belts into trucks at the Tamworth warehouse, preparing them for drivers to start their deliveriesUnloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouseManually shrink-wrapping freightScanning parcels electronically and ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and up to dateOpportunity for ongoing work and skill development for the right candidatesAbout you: Hold a current driver's licenceForklift licence and experience highly advantageousMaintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in a repetitive role, ensuring attention to detail at all timesCapable of performing in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and some manual lifting requiredDemonstrate strong leadership qualities and ability to guide and motivate othersExperienced in manual handlingPossess strong work ethic and attitude towards safetyBe willing to complete a criminal history check and complete online inductionsBe willing to undertake and pass a D&A testAble to provide 2 current work referencesIf this sounds like you please apply through the advert or go to jobs.programmed.com.au.
