Located 150 kilometres from Mt Isa, just on the territory border, Barkly has a carrying capacity of 52,000 head across 2.3 million acres. It's an exciting time to join Barkly, having recently completed significant capital investment into staff facilities, property assets and operational infrastructure, with major developments planned for implementation in the near future.About the RoleReporting to the Senior Manager, Northern Breeding, the Barkly Downs Operations Manager takes a hands-on, 2IC role, with 5 direct reports and joins a total team of 26, along with contractors and service providers from time to time.
