We are looking for an experienced packer ready for the next challenge, the role is available in the Loganlea area. It involves packing long length material wrapped in plastic and placed into wooden crates. It is not overly heavy or fast-paced but you are on your feet for long periods. Includes keeping work areas clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures. The ideal person will be able to take on greater responsibility with a view to progressing in the department. Current Forklift licence desirable and due to the nature of the shifts you must have your own car and current licence.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly reputable market leader: This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present in the future).We roster day shifts between (5:00am – 3:00pm) and night shifts (5:00pm – 3:00am) Monday to Friday (roster is rotational).Casual hourly rate on day shift is $30.13 and night shift is $34.65 PLUS OVERTIME.To be considered for this work, you will need: Previous labouring and packing experience (ideally in a factory environment) with two contactable work references.Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely.Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling/labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided).Current Forklift Licence preferred.Appropriate work wear including steel-cap boots, long pants and yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts.Availability to commence asap at Loganlea.Please submit your application or, if you have any questions, please contact Russell on 0493 258 612 or 3812 2920.
