As a NOC Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our clinets production network.You'll be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, providing support to ensure the highest level of service for clients.Your responsibilities will involve network surveillance, troubleshooting, and repair across various hardware and software vendors. You'll collaborate with internal teams, equipment vendors, and facility providers to resolve issues and contribute to the growth of the network.This role demands adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering excellent communication and service to both internal stakeholders and external customers.Responsibilities:Perform network surveillance to maintain the integrity of production network.Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Optical, Ethernet, and IP products and services.Install, configure, maintain, and monitor company networks to support fiber and fixed wireless needs.Develop security procedures and respond to notifications to eliminate threats to network equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve network problems, impairments, and outages.Follow prescribed escalation policies within SLAs.Perform fault analysis, isolation, and remediation across various technologies.Provide Single Point of Contact duties for high-risk service-impacting events.Implement network policies, procedures, and standards.Train other NOC technicians as needed on processes and technologies.Maintain current industry knowledge and support on-call work on nights and weekends as needed.Skills/Must have:2-3+ years' experience in a NOC environment in the telecommunications industry.Experience with Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification.Familiarity with TCP/IP addressing, advanced routing protocols, and ISP concepts.Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1-3 faults and use various network troubleshooting tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and other relevant software.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Benefits:Competitive salary package, based on experience and qualifications.Opportunities for professional development and training.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Health and wellness benefits.Retirement savings plan.Join this team and be part of a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact.
