Are you experienced in project costing? Would you like to be part of the Communities Project Delivery team who are dedicated to delivering programs of work that support one of Queensland's largest council territories? Central Highlands Regional Council is committed to delivering value to its community. As a result, we are looking for a Project Costing Officer to join the Community Project Delivery Team based in Emerald on a maximum term basis.
In this role, you will assist the Communities Project Delivery team in day-to-day costing/financials, project administration, procurement, and ensuring the service provided is effective, timely, and accurate.
As a Project Costing Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the ordering, purchasing, and supply of project requirements to allow capital delivery-related work to proceed in a timely manner.
Working with us, you will have the opportunity to: Monitor and analyse financial data of projects to ensure accuracyEffectively communicate with internal stakeholders on the financial position status of projectsCollate relevant data to produce accurate and high-level financial reports both on a recurring and ad-hoc basisProvide comprehensive, efficient, and confidential administrative services to the Communities Project Delivery TeamEstablish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partiesTo be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.Demonstrated experience in project cost managementA proven ability to analyse large amounts of dataA positive attitude to competing priorities and requestsAbility to work autonomously and deliver outcomesAdvanced systems and Microsoft Suite expertiseProactive organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested in becoming a member of the Community Project Delivery Team who are responsible for delivering council's future plans, then we want to hear from you!
