Central Highlands Regional Council is looking for an administration superstar to join our short-term staffing solutions team based in Emerald.
This is a full time position however, for the successful applicant, the possibility of school hours (5 days a week) would be considered.
As an STSS Administration Assistant, you will have the opportunity to provide administration support to all areas of council.
You will move around the various council departments to support projects, peak times, and leave coverage.
Your administrative expertise and proactive approach will allow you to quickly adapt to your changing environment and work tasks and will allow you to continually diversify your skills.
Working with us, you will have the opportunity to: Provide a diverse range of administrative support Prepare and create various documents including reports, agendas and minutes Complete high volumes of data entry Collate and analyse relevant data to suit reporting needs Ensure effective record management Complete procurements tasks including obtaining quotes, creating requesting and processing invoices Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Significant administrative experience A flexible and resourceful approach and a positive attitude to competing priorities and requests Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite QLD Drivers Licence - Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers license If you are interested in becoming a valued member of the administration dream team, then we want to hear from you!
