As they continue to expand their business and operations, we seek a highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team.
The Role The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Committee and will be responsible for the overall financial management and strategic direction of the firm. This role will require a strong business acumen, a deep understanding of the legal industry (preferred), and a proven track record of financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the firms financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management. Provide financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Collaborate with other departments to achieve firm-wide goals. Provide strategic financial advice to support business development and growth initiatives. Skills and Experience Proven track record as a CFO in a professional services firm, preferably in the legal industry. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with partners and senior management.
