About the Role
I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Family Lawyer to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in managing your own caseload, providing strategic advice, and achieving successful outcomes for your clients.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse family law caseload from end-to-end, including property settlements, parenting arrangements, and child support
Provide exceptional client service, with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and understanding
Advocate for clients' rights in mediation, negotiation, and court appearances
Draft legal documents, including court applications and agreements
Stay up-to-date with relevant family law legislation and case law
Contribute to the development and growth of the firm
Skills and Experience
Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria
Willing to complete Family Law Accreditation in the future
Minimum 3 years' experience in family law
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Compassionate and empathetic approach
Commitment to ethical and professional conduct
