Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and developing menus, maintaining accurate costing, cooking and preparing food as per the menu, and ensuring all meals are produced on time.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and develop menus, maintaining updated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared and sold.Cook and prepare food as per the menu.Prepare different specialty items from the north region of India, including Parathas, Pakodas, soya champ, seekh kebabs, lambchops, etc.Maintain accurate stock levels of all kitchen supplies.Train, develop, and motivate culinary team members to meet and exceed established food preparation standards.Estimate and monitor food and labour costs.Ensure all staff are aware of their duties and expectations.Delegate duties to kitchen staff as per the menu requirements.Oversee and monitor the work of kitchen staff to ensure all tasks are done as required.Giving staff feedback on their performance to enable staff development.Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.Recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavor.Minimise wastage by careful supervision of food preparation methods.Oversee the ordering and control of stock levels.Ensure staff follow Health safety and hygiene practices at all times.Demonstrate various cooking techniques and suggest cooking methods to the team.About Us: This role is ideal for an experienced chef who is passionate about delivering high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
