The Role: Wildlife Supervisor
Step into a supervisory role that blends your passion for wildlife with exceptional leadership skills.
As a Wildlife Supervisor, you'll oversee the care of iconic Australian animals, support the development of a high-performing team, and ensure unforgettable guest experiences while contributing to conservation and education.

Position Details:
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: Wildlife Habitat, Port Douglas, QLD
• Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Support and supervise a dedicated team of Wildlife Keepers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Animal Welfare: Oversee exceptional care for all animals, ensuring enrichment programs and habitat standards are maintained.
Daily Operations: Coordinate feeding schedules, health checks, and guest interactions, delivering world-class visitor experiences.
Policy Implementation: Assist in enforcing animal care policies aligned with industry standards.
Conservation & Education: Work with management to advance conservation initiatives and educational programs.
The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a passionate and experienced supervisor ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience:
Proven supervisory experience in a zoo or wildlife park, managing and motivating teams.
Strong knowledge of welfare frameworks, enrichment techniques, and conservation principles.
Hands-on experience with Australian wildlife and a deep understanding of their natural history.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Familiarity with developing and implementing safety and care protocols.
Manual driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
Availability:
Flexible to work a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
Ability to comply with our Drug and Alcohol Policy.
