This role can be based from Orange or any other Central NSW location.The Zone Substation Electrical Technician is responsible for construction and maintenance of Zone Substations, inspecting, testing, and reporting the nature and condition of network asset and the installation commissioning and testing of associated Zone Substation and distribution equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction and Maintenance of Zone Substations and Underground Infrastructure.Installation, commissioning and testing of associated Zone Substation and distribution equipmentCarrying out switching operations associated with both high and low voltage Engineering ServicesInspecting, testing, and reporting nature and condition of Network assets to maintain quality standards Accessing and using computerised systems to operate remote equipment Be available and participate in emergency after hours dutiesOperating plant and equipment associated with Zone Substations in a safe manner.About YouAs a Zone Substation Electrical Technician, you will be able to demonstrate practical application of the qualification for this role.
