Join Our Team at Zone Landscape Architecture: Landscape Contract Administrator Are you passionate about ensuring landscape projects come to life seamlessly and with precision? Zone Landscape Architecture is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Contract Administrator to join our growing team. This role will focus on overseeing the construction phase of dynamic landscape architecture projects, ensuring they align with design intent, budgets, and timelines.
As a key member of our project team, you'll manage contract administration, facilitate communication with contractors, council, consultants, and clients, and ensure that every project milestone is met to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients, council, and contractors, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and contract terms. Prepare, review, and negotiate variations and amendments to contracts. Prepare Tenders, Council Bonding, and As Constructed data submissions (ADAC) across multiple councils within the SE Queensland/Northern NSW region. Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with the contractor project manager/clients/landscape architect to develop schedules and monitor project timelines. Conduct regular site visits, ensuring construction is progressing as planned and according to design specifications & council requirements. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and track project budgets, controlling costs and approving invoices. Ensure expenditures stay within approved limits, and provide cost assessments for variations. Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections to ensure quality construction and compliance with design standards. Resolve any issues or non-conformances swiftly, maintaining project integrity. Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and design teams, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. Foster transparent communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project. Maintain strong client relationships. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in contract administration or construction management. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and landscape architecture specifications across multiple councils. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with CAD or project management software is a plus. Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable. Current Australian Driver's License. Why Zone Landscape Architecture?
