UX Researcher

As a UX Researcher at Zip, you'll work on various strategic research projects, such as segmentation research, focusing on attitudes, behaviours, and beliefs to help guide our innovation approach and align with the strategic vision.

You'll be involved with democratising qualitative research at Zip, conducting quality testing and coaching others to help teams gain the best insights and quality data.

Your responsibilities will include Research Operations, such as scoping, recruiting, and analysis, while assisting Product Managers and Product Designers in conducting their own research.

You'll report to the Senior Manager of UX Research and be part of the wider Product Design & Research team, collaborating cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Market Research, Marketing, Data analytics, and more.

This role is based out of our Sydney CBD office and offers a hybrid working arrangement (minimum 2 days in the office per week).

2+ years of user research experience in an agile/cross-functional environment A portfolio/case studies demonstrating insight-driven impact in both product and the organization - translating insights into actionable roadmap items Experience driving end-to-end aspects of the research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder presentations) Knowledge of ResearchOps: recruitment, tooling, and administrative tasks A curiosity for uncovering the true "why" of a problem to ensure we build and design the right thing right An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
