Zebu Restaurant & Bar, located within Rydges Port Macquarie overlooking the breathtaking Hastings River, is searching for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. A comprehensive knowledge of sequence of service and team leadership skills are essential. Wine, cocktails, COG's knowledge, table management/yielding, and point of sale management preferred. Reporting to the F&B Manager and primarily overseeing the evening Dinner Service, the successful applicant will need to be available evenings and weekends to fulfil the role requirements.
Qualifications & ExperienceCurrent NSW RSA competency cardComprehensive knowledge of Ala Carte restaurant and Bar operations and Sequence of ServiceCertificate 4 or higher in Hospitality Management or related fieldProven ability to train and develop a successful operational team.Minimum 2 years in a Restaurant Supervisor position or higher in a similar roleUnderstanding of operations in a multi outlet venuePrevious experience in a hotel or accommodation venue an advantageExperience using online Reservation software & POS operations.NSW Safe Food Handling CertificateBar skills including Beer, Wine, Cocktails and Barista CoffeeTasks & ResponsibilitiesOverseeing Dinner service of our Ala Carte Restaurant and adjacent BarContinuous training and development of a small team focused on Sequence of Service and Exceptional Guest ExperiencesMotivate and inspire from the front lines - the Host with the Most!Assist with Rostering and TimesheetsAssist with Weekly Orders & Monthly StocktakingEnsure immaculate presentation and comfortable ambiance of the venue at all times #J-18808-Ljbffr
