We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and mentorship to young individuals, contributing to their personal and social development. If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for their growth, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Build and maintain positive relationships with youth through mentorship and counselling. Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote skill-building, leadership, and personal growth. Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance resources and support for youth. Advocate for the rights and needs of young individuals within the community. Provide educational resources and conduct training sessions on relevant topics. Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities. Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to youth development. Managing potential behaviors of concern. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field. Previous experience working with youth is preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Knowledge of community resources and social services. Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in promoting positive youth development. Experience with working with people with disabilities. An Australian driver's license is required.
