About The Role
As a Team Member, you'll play a vital role in supporting Children and Young People living in Out-of-Home Care at our therapeutic, rural properties, where we focus on a technology-reduced model of care. Your main responsibilities will include engaging with and supporting Children and Young People who exhibit challenging behaviors, helping them achieve their social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals. You'll also oversee their daily care.
Our mission is to equip Children and Young People with new coping strategies and pro-social behaviors to help them transition to a forever home.

Current Australian Driver's Licence (must be Open or P2)Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards it)Availability for shift work (24-hour model), including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as scheduledApproved Licensed Care Service (LSC) check through the department, or ability to obtain oneCurrent Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain oneCurrent First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain themFlexibility to meet the organisation's needsAbility to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet specific timeframes and targetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, organization, and reportingProficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office SuiteProvide two recent professional referencesDesirable Attributes
Understanding of trauma-informed practicesPrevious Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainingCompletion of Hope & Healing modulesExperience working directly with children and families in a support roleCurrent Licensed Care Service (LCS) check through the DepartmentFlexible, adaptable, and eager to learnHow To Apply
