We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and mentorship to young individuals, contributing to their personal and social development.

Responsibilities: Build and maintain positive relationships with youth through mentorship and counselling.
Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote skill-building, leadership, and personal growth.
Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance resources and support for youth.
Advocate for the rights and needs of young individuals within the community.
Provide educational resources and conduct training sessions on relevant topics.
Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to youth development.
Managing potential behaviors of concern.
Qualifications: Certificate 4 or higher in Child/Youth and Family Intervention or related fields.
Hope & Healing & LCS2 Required Previous experience working with youth is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of community resources and social services.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in promoting positive youth development.
Experience with working with people with disabilities.
An Australian driver's license is required.
