Position OverviewThe Youth Worker will play a vital role in the Bail Support and Reconnect programs, which focus on supporting high-risk young people involved in the youth justice system and those facing homelessness.
This position requires a proactive approach to service delivery, community engagement, and program development to ensure young people receive the necessary support.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a strong background in youth work or community services, along with the ability to engage effectively with young people and families.
A commitment to cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is essential.
Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related fieldExperience in addressing complex issues such as homelessness and mental healthAbility to develop and implement targeted programs and case plansStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and community stakeholdersSalary & BenefitsThis position offers an attractive salary of $37.35 per hour plus salary packaging options.
