About the Role CareSouth is seeking experienced Youth Support Workers to provide individualised support for a young person living in our Albury-based program.
The young person we support comes from a background of trauma, and we are looking for people who will work with their strengths to see them thrive.

The overall responsibilities of a Youth Support Worker are to promote a consistent and considered person-centred approach to the direct care of young people who reside in residential care, ensuring individual needs are met.
Support Workers provide emotional support and crisis intervention, maintain a safe and welcoming home environment, and encourage young people to develop their social and living skills.
Additional duties include undertaking household and daily general duties, participating in regular team and organisational meetings, and training.
You will be a person who can uphold our values, exercise patience and resilience, and exhibit a very nurturing demeanour.
We are looking for individuals who place children first and are motivated to do what is best for them.
