The leadership you will bringAs the Team Leader of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Accommodation Service, you will be passionate about delivering our national youth services model of care to assist young people in their journey to independence.
You will lead and mentor a passionate, high-functioning team of youth workers to deliver quality client-centered supported crisis accommodation for young people aged 15-24 years who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Part of your role as the Team Leader will also be to coordinate and oversee all daily operations of the accommodation service.

This is a permanent, full-time position paid in accordance with the SCHADS award, level 6. Your key responsibilitiesProvide specialist expertise to workers to resolve case concernsEnsure service delivery data is recorded and appropriately maintainedLead practice development for the teamImplement systems for clear communication and handover between staffImplement reflective practices for the team and contribute to improved outcomes for young peopleDevelop the capability of the team through coaching and trainingAddress performance or conduct issues with assistance from Program Manager as requiredThe ideal candidate would bringDegree qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or related fieldDemonstrated high level sector knowledge and skills attained through previous work roles, service and study/developmentExperience in leading and supervising staffWA Working with Children's CheckDriver's LicenceNational Police Record Check is required (completed by TSA during recruitment)First Aid Certificate (current or able to get within three months)What we offer As a registered NFP, we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as:
