We're seeking a vibrant Youth Programs Attendant to join our team Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 6:30pm, and to be a part of something truly special at MAC. What You'll Do: General:Work positively and cooperatively with others to maintain a friendly, customer-oriented team atmosphere.Ensure compliance with club safety policies and procedures, participating in all relevant training and classes.Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.Uphold confidentiality of privileged information.Attend all required departmental specific trainings and staff meetings.Adhere to all club policies and departmental procedures.Child Care Specific:Provide a warm, safe, and caring environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing.Interact positively with all staff, parents, children, and guests, maintaining an upbeat and friendly demeanor.Greet parents and children upon arrival and departure, updating records as needed.Assist parents and children in transitioning to our care, reducing anxiety and facilitating a smooth experience.Set up, maintain, sanitize, and store equipment daily.Prepare crafts and activities daily, fostering creativity and engagement.Lead by example, enforcing safety regulations and employing appropriate behavior management techniques.Ensure children's items are labeled and organized.Comfort upset children and maintain positive behavior through redirection or quiet activities.Conduct various activities with children, including games, art projects, storytelling, and imaginary play, while monitoring individual and group dynamics.Follow classroom schedules and instructions promptly, including serving snacks and attending to individual needs.Assist with children's toileting, diapering, and hygiene needs as necessary, following established procedures.Promote the MAC code of conduct in all activities and demonstrate the importance of quality service.What You'll Bring: Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills with both children and adults.Dedication to upholding safety standards and demonstrating sound judgment.Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable demeanor.Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting children and handling play equipment.Must pass a background check.What You'll Gain:
