Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development)Full timeJob PurposeThe Programs Lead is a key member of the Living Learning team, responsible for leading the development, organisation, and delivery of the Living Learning adventure programs. The program lead delivers the bush adventure and campus programs element of the Living Learning Program Logic.Duties of this role:Develop, organise, and deliver the Living Learning adventure and other programs.Liaise with external partners to co-deliver programs.Liaise with LL leadership staff to ensure programs are coordinated and delivered with high quality.Participate in various adventure activities, on and off campus.Provide high-quality support to vulnerable young people through the application of the Living Learning Program Logic.Maintain and develop positive and effective partnerships with relevant sector organisations.Assist with the development and delivery of relevant school programs.Classroom teaching, as required (generally as occasional backfill).Complete regular reporting, information and data collection, and quality improvement activities, including updating procedures and manuals.Participate in and facilitate meetings, debriefing, supervision, and training.Criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Education, including a current VIT.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering trauma-informed programs and services for young people at risk or experiencing disengagement from education.Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships, including problem-solving and communicating with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.Demonstrated ability to develop your own capabilities and improve performance, with guidance.Strong written communication skills.Ability to use Microsoft software products (Office, Excel, Teams).Ability to work flexible hours to support client needs and to perform regular travel within metropolitan Melbourne, and occasional overnight work (fleet vehicles are available for staff use).Knowledge of the legislative requirements when working with at-risk young people, including Child Safety Standards.Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a National Police check, International Police check (if required), a current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), current Victorian Driver's Licence, and the right to work in Australia.If interested, APPLY HERE or email your CV to .#J-18808-Ljbffr
