We are looking for a Youth Program Development Coordinator to join the team on a Full Time Permanent basis, located at our Belmont Head Office.
This position ensures that the program adheres to best practices by collaborating with other Cadet programs at the state, national, and international levels.
The Youth Program Development Coordinator oversees various aspects of program development, governance, and youth leader engagement and support.
This role is critical in supporting the successful launch, implementation of the program.
What you'll do Create and maintain program documentation, including course proficiencies, youth leader and curriculum materials.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enhance the Youth Program content, structure and activities.
Ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Develop the curriculum and content to align to education, volunteer and career opportunities for youth to provide various approved pathways from the program.
Monitor program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Adhere to best practices by collaborating with other Cadet/youth programs at the state, national, and international levels.
Work closely with regional and metro areas to ensure successful and consistent implementation.
Create and design the Youth Program reward and recognition structure Establish and maintain program governance requirements Foster strong relationships with other St John Youth Programs to share learning and resources to support program governance and compliance activities.
Actively engage as a member with the National Child Safeguarding Group What you'll need Qualification or Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Work, Social Work, Human Services, Business, Public Health, or related fields.
Experience working with youth in a development program or educational setting.
Experience in a volunteer/youth leader capacity Experience working with volunteers Previous involvement in curriculum development What's in it for you?
