About the Role: Nestled between Geraldton and Darwin, Roebourne holds the title of the oldest town in the Northwest. Roebourne, PCYC caters to the needs of the community through diversionary programs that are targeted towards local young people. The Youth Program Coordinator will be leading the development, delivery and evaluation of our safeSPACE program - PCYCs diversionary program, aimed at supporting frontline policing priorities and preventing young people from becoming involved in the youth justice system and improving outcomes for those who do. About you: A qualification in Youth/Community work (Diploma or above is highly desirable) or related area such as social work, psychology, behavioural science and/or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering and evaluating youth programs Ability to communicate effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds, including their families.
