Full Time Fixed Term Position - Until November 2025Band 5 - Salary Range $78,646 to $90,563 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADOSalary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.The OpportunityMelton City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to optimise the wellbeing and resilience of young people aged 12 - 25 years and their families through the identification, design, establishment, and delivery of inclusive, adaptable, and accessible programs. You will be responsible for establishing and maximising relationships with organisations to improve outcomes for young people and advocate for their needs.As a Youth Development & Support Officer within the Young Communities services unit, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating a range of educational, recreational and youth consultation programs targeted at young people, in response to identified needs within the municipality.Reporting to the Team Leader Development and Support, you will provide information, support and referral services to young people, their families and support networks, whilst facilitating fun and engaging programs.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage and work with young people that may require further short-term assistance and support.
