Position Description: Youth Impact Facilitator About The Organisation Y Ballarat, including our Board of Directors are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People frameworks.
Y Ballarat requires all applicants to undergo checks prior to commencement including, police checks, international police checks, WWCC and reference checks as a minimum.
The Y Ballarat is a recognised Safeguarding Children and Young People organisation, independently reviewed by the ACF.
The Youth Impact Facilitator – Engagement & Learning is responsible for supporting young people to engage in existing re-engagement and learning programs.
The Youth Impact Facilitator works collaboratively with the Y Youth team to develop innovative new re-engagement programs tailored to meet the needs of local young people.
The Youth Impact Facilitator is a super creative role focusing on creating impact with and for young people via engaging, positive and innovative initiatives.
Our Youth Impact Facilitators are the face of the Y Ballarat Youth Team who work collaboratively with local organisations whilst providing informal mentoring for young people.
