We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Youth Engagement Services Coordinator to lead youth programs and initiatives that promote active involvement, leadership and community participation among young people.
As the Youth Engagement Services Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives, building strong partnerships with local organisations and fostering an environment that supports youth participation in community. What you will bringIdeally the successful applicant will have the following:
Degree qualifications in relevant field and demonstrated extensive experience in the leadership and management of individuals and multifunctional teams.Significant experience in policy development, staff management and financial management.Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of strategy.Demonstrated ability and experience in community engagement to develop partnerships and effective relationships with education and training providers, service providers and other community agencies.Demonstrated knowledge of issues and risk factors affecting the participation of young people in education.Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.Hold a current Working With Children Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.Current Australian Driver's Licence.Salary and conditions The position is classified within Band 8 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $122,104.84 to $136,830.20 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
