Daylesford College is the sole provider of secondary education in the Shire of Hepburn and consists of 480 students, 40 teachers and 12 support staff. The school draws students from a wide region with 65% of students travelling to school by bus every day.

RoleThe Youth Engagement Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality, social, emotional and recreationally based programs that engage, support, and connect young people in at Daylesford College.
The Youth Engagement Officer will be part of a dedicated wellbeing team supporting young people at Daylesford College.
ResponsibilitiesThe Youth Engagement Officer will coordinate the college wellbeing activities, including wellbeing, diversity, leadership and engagement programs. These include coordinating the student leadership program, pride group, cultural days, mental and physical health days, clubs and small group activities.
The Youth Engagement officer will also support the Wellbeing Team in the following areas:
Information and referralsCoordinating short term programsFacilitating programs focussing on friendships and social supportAdvocacyShort term case managementThe Youth Engagement Officer will provide some case management and support to young people to seek to engage wellbeing support services, external services and programs.
