About the role:
Part-time – 30 hours per fortnight.
This exciting opportunity is to join our flying headspace program working within the headspace Port Augusta team.
The role is flying into remote communities including Marree, Oodnadatta, Yalata in close partnerships with the Royal Flying Doctor Service to conduct
psychosocial assessments including risk assessments and formulating case plans in collaboration with the young person.
Developing trusting relationships with community and stakeholders in the remote communities.
The Youth Engagement & Intake Officer will facilitate community engagement activities and group activities to engage young people and raise mental health
literacy.
About you:
The role is applicable to suitably experienced and qualified Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists or Nurses.
Current and full registration with appropriate registration authority (AHPRA or AASW).
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal history check (National Police Check) and hold a Department of Human Services (DHS)
Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
