About You: Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Disabilities, Social Work or similar Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher) NSW Working with Children Check Current First Aid & CPR certificate The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

As a Residential Youth Worker, you'll be part of something extraordinary. You will provide day-to-day assistance, guidance, support and empowerment to help young people achieve their goals. The role is a casual opportunity with consistent hours offering flexible work arrangements and great work-life balance.
?Responsibilities: Your Responsibilities Will Include: Establish a secure and nurturing home environment for at-risk young people Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to individuals with disabilities Offer guidance and support with personal care requirements including meal assistance and hygiene routines Provide transportation for school, appointments and community activities Foster the development of skills and socialisation within the local community, alongside promoting positive pro-social peer interactions Support in the administration of medications and associated reporting requirements for children on Child Protection orders Provide trauma-informed care to young people who display complex behavioural issues and traumatic backgrounds
