Centacare NENW is seeking a dedicated Youth Care Coordinator to join our team in Glen Innes/Inverell on a temporary basis. If you are passionate about supporting young people and creating meaningful change in their lives, join our team on a 5-month maternity cover contract.

Job DescriptionYour role as a Youth Care Coordinator As a Youth Care Coordinator, your role is to provide recovery-oriented counselling services to improve the mental and social wellbeing of young people. Building trust and fostering positive relationships are central to the role, ensuring young people feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.
This is a short-term 5-month maternity relief contract with the possibility of an extension. This role can be full-time or part-time and is based in either Glen Innes or Inverell. Key accountabilities include Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct detailed assessments to identify young people's needs, risks, and strengths.Relationship Building: Build trust and respectful relationships with young people to foster engagement.Stakeholder Collaboration and Coordination: Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.Compliance and Safeguarding: Adhere to all legal, organisational, and safeguarding protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of young people.About Centacare Since 2001, Centacare, a Social Services Agency of the Catholic Diocese of Armidale, has been a vital part of the local community.
