$43 p/h+ superannuation + salary sacrifice Full-time Fixed-term position About the role: We are currently seeking a fulltime Youth Access Worker to join our headspace team in Emerald.
Our Youth Access Worker will be the initial contact for access and engagement screening for headspace Emerald young people.
The Youth Access Worker will conduct the initial screening using the headspace psychosocial assessments and present it to our multidisciplinary team to determine the best pathway and care plan.
What will a typical day look like?
Monitor and conduct psychosocial assessments on headspace Emerald young people to ascertain social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Deliver evidence based brief interventions, including group interventions and problem solving with young people and their families.
Provide an inclusive practice that values the significance of family and friends.
Attend and contribute to regular Care Coordination Review Meetings.
Assist and provide appropriate and timely referrals for a range of treatments and services offered by headspace Emerald's partners, Private Practitioners, and other key agencies.
Mandatory Requirements: Diploma in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or relevant.
