Our client is seeking a proactive, intelligent and well-organised Family Lawyer to join our reputable Family Team. You will be working as part of a team providing support to Senior Partners, including:
representing Government clients; attending a high volume of Court and Tribunal appearances. We are seeking someone with:
1-4 years PAE advocacy experience preferably in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court and/or administrative Appeals Tribunal Be admitted as a lawyer with the Supreme Court of NSW; Have a minimum of 1 year of PQE; Have an interest in the fields of Family Law & Commercial Law; Be available to work full-time; Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills; Pay attention to detail; Be able to meet deadlines; Be able to work independently (or in a team) with limited supervision; Ability to work well within a team environment and manage a high-volume workload; Ability to exercise judgment & resolve problems expeditiously; Strong technical skills including in legal document drafting and research. Suiting candidates at both the Associate and Senior Associate levels, the successful applicant will be required to work on a range of development transactions for a number of private and listed clients, reporting directly to a lead Partner and working autonomously whenever appropriate.
