We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Upper Mount Gravatt Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
About the Role In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.
Responsibilities As the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
The development of quality programs Managing the day-to-day running of the programs Coordinating staffing and rostering Ensuring compliance with policy Undertaking administrative requirements Working collaboratively with families and the school community Minimum Requirements As the OSHC Coordinator, you should have:
Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services) Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain them A current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one About the Team YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school, and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.
