As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of client environments by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions. You will work closely with clients to consult on security topics, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, identify potential weaknesses, and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities: Secure clients' cloud and on-prem environment by architecting and implementing effective security solutions.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security reviews to identify and address potential weaknesses.Utilise deep working knowledge of Windows Defender and the M365 security suite, including Entra ID and Purview, to enhance our clients' security posture.Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking, endpoint security, and identity and access management principles.Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to proactively address emerging risks.Apply strong understanding of the Essential 8 controls framework and its application in a corporate environment.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in securing cloud and on-premises environments.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with the ASD Essential 8 controls framework, ISO27001 and CIS Security Benchmarks.Salary: $150,000
