It is made up of 4 days classroom teaching and one full day of planning. We are looking for an excellent teacher to share their knowledge and skills with the Year 1/2 team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and maintain a passion for classroom teaching at the same time. Experienced teachers with a passion for leadership with no leadership experience can apply.The leadership component involves:Assisting the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning to drive continuous improvement in instruction and to help as Resurrection continues on its journey of meeting the MACS Vision for Instruction 2030 in the Year 1/2 Level.Being a lead teacher in the planning day in order to support the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning to help drive this continuous improvement.Organising excursions and the Prep - Year 2's participation in our swimming program in conjunction with the Prep Team Leader.In supporting you within a team setting, we provide the following:One day per week release from your teaching duties to collaborate, plan and participate in professional learning with your team with the support of leaders for full-time teachers.One staff meeting per week.A relentless focus on the wellbeing of each child.A Monday one hour meeting where all Team Leaders are involved in Professional learning and dialogue around Vision for Instruction.A welcoming and inclusive culture and as a result, families value and trust the school and its staff.Dedicated staff demonstrating high levels of teamwork and a commitment to professional growth.Clear communication and processes that support transparency and facilitate the learning environment.Applicants should have:A passion for supporting students.A passion for leading improvement.Proven ability or a want to cater for the individual needs of our students.Be driven to contribute, lead and learn.Applicants are encouraged to visit our website: www.rskingspark.catholic.edu.au to gain further insight into our school.
