Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Full time We are a Catholic Coeducational Secondary College with two campuses, set on approximately 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and playing fields. MacKillop is an innovative learning community offering contemporary facilities, a vibrant curriculum, and supportive wellbeing programs that are respectful and responsive to the individual needs of approximately 1,730 students from Years 7-12.
About the role We are proud of our staff who have recently accepted internal promotions. MacKillop College now invites experienced educators seeking a leadership position where they can be an authentic and positive role model for students, staff, and families, and work proactively and collaboratively to develop, maintain, and encourage positive and professional relationships across the year level and College.
Working collaboratively as a member of the Student Wellbeing Team, this role will support and mentor students to meet their conduct and behavioural obligations while encouraging personal accountability. The Year Level Leader will be responsible for the timely provision of support to students, educators, and families, promoting collegiality and open dialogue.
As a Catholic College, our teachers must have an active commitment to working in and supporting a school culture that reflects gospel values and a pastoral approach towards student and staff wellbeing.
The successful applicant will commence Term 1, 2025 as a permanent Teacher, with a position of leadership (POL 3 + 550 minutes of release time) allocated until January 2027.
