This role attracts a 2-point remuneration and time allocation. This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing Term 1, 2025.Position HighlightsAs a member of the Wellbeing Team, the Year Coordinator shares the responsibility for leadership of the vision, mission and strategic priorities and contributes to the life and management of the College. The Year Coordinator is a delegated responsibility by the Principal for leadership in the Pastoral, Wellbeing and Learning dimension, which incorporates a House system with vertical homerooms. This role also involves the responsibility of a specific year group of students along with a pastoral team. The Year Coordinator works with the College Leadership, KLA Coordinators and Wellbeing teams within a professional learning community context to enhance the academic wellbeing of all students.As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition. In line with the College's Learning and Wellbeing Framework, it is expected that the successful applicant will be committed to educating young women and promoting personal excellence.Key Selection CriteriaThe successful applicant will:Assist in the active leadership of the Pastoral Care Team - this may include mentoring, collaborating and the sharing of information to encourage continuous improvement in the quality of learning and wellbeing across the College.Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic school.Show highly developed skills in leadership.Be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively.Collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students.Be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills.Have highly skilled interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents.Use creative and innovative teaching practices to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students.Be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.Have highly effective administrative and organisational skills.Have a minimum of five years teaching experience in more than one school.Have experience in middle leadership as a year or house coordinator.Have experience in utilising Positive Education Frameworks for wellbeing.You will have attained:A tertiary qualification in Education.Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).Application ProcessPlease click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
